As a working journalist, Chris, I can definitely say what you have is hardly an ‘exclusive’ given it came from his comments section. “as far as I’m aware” suggests to me you didn’t even ask him. You can read definitions of ‘thief’ to me all you want. Want me to turn to ‘exclusive’ as well?

A thief is a criminal who takes property belonging to someone else with the intention of keeping it or selling it. I haven’t got a clue why you’ve got on your high horse and left a pointless comment on my blog.

Martin, The Goon Blog owner, doesn’t have a problem with this either as far as I’m aware, so I recommend you stick to making your OWN blog better.

John, I’m well aware that in the 50’s (way before this young lad’s time), Wolves were a huge team, winning the FA Cup a bunch of times (and the league once or twice, if I remember correctly?).

I’m glad to see someone who has ’seen it all, done it all’ is reading the blog. I wrote the article in a not too condescending style – I usually reserve that tone for Spurs and Chelsea.

All I wanted to say was that for many teams, a match against the ‘big four’ is like a cup final in many ways.

In my years, I’ve seen Billy Wright, the Doog, the brilliant teams of the 50’s, the magnificent flood light friendlies and birth of European football at Molineux, FA cups and First Division titles.

The tables may have turned but this old dog has seen it all

I agree mate, it’ll be a tight one. I think though, this is the match where Shava breaks loose. I’ve a feeling he’s on for his first brace of the regular season. I’ll call it 3-1 Arsenal, with the Wolves goal coming at 2-0.
